My grandfather used to cut newspaper articles out of the newspaper, put them in an envelope and then send them to the relevant grandchild. My mother does the same thing, but through email, and to her children (for example, me). Since she became a grandmother it has become a lot more fervent.
Mostly it is quirky Austrian news, and just this morning it was ear wax. You never know what you are going to find but it always makes me wonder, what the hell is Granny Googling?
